Body armour has been standard issue police kit for some time, indeed it has become standard PPE for many other sector's both public and private where employee's and individual's can come into potentially violent, confrontational situations. The legal requirement of employers to manage the risks that their employees are faced with has resulted in body armour becoming evermore apparent in modern day Britain. To counter the threat of personal injury a wide range of PPE is available. Often termed body armour these items vary in quality and ability starting with products designed simply to deflect a blow or impact, advancing to more sophisticated products designed to withstand high velocity ballistic projectiles - put simply bullets! Balancing risk with cost is always a difficult decision and sometimes uncomfortable compromises might have had to have been made by employer's or individuals wishing to equip personnel with some level of personal protection. The saying 'You pay for what you get' could not be more appropriate with body armour, the unfortunate downside being that if ever it is put to the ultimate test what you may get is personal injury or worse. If you are going to invest in body armour, do not be fooled into thinking that whatever you wear it will in some way help, as not only can this lull you into a false sense of security exposing you to more risk but poor armour if subjected to ballistic attack can actually lead to worse injury than no armour at all.

The KB02 multipurpose safety light kit takes the concept of a small but powerful battery powered blue police light still further. The KB02 can be deployed on police traffic signs the kind which many police patrol vehicles now carry. These lightweignt police signs are often made of re-enforced fabrics or plastic and with the accessory pack that comes with the KB02 the light can be attached either via the suction cup mounting or clamped via the two magnets that come with this kit.
